Special Ed Teacher | Saint Paul, Minnesota

This onsite Special Education Teacher role is located in Burnsville, MN, serving an elementary site-based program focused on behavior and cross-categorical special education needs. The position runs from January 5 to June 4, 2026, with a 37.5-hour workweek and a caseload of approximately 8-10 students. The program primarily supports students with Emotional Behavioral Disorders while addressing a range of disabilities, requiring strong behavior strategy and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction to students with behavioral and cross-categorical special education needs.
• Implement and monitor behavior plans tailored to individual student needs.
• Establish structured classroom routines and maintain consistent instructional practices.
• Collaborate closely with special education and general education staff.
• Coordinate schedules and work collaboratively with paraprofessionals to support student goals.
• Maintain excellent attendance and professional communication with the team.

Qualifications:

• Valid Minnesota Teaching Credential in Special Education, with one or more endorsements such as:

• Knowledge and experience in behavior intervention strategies.
