Openings include roles focused on Autism (ASD), Developmental Cognitive Disabilities (DCD), Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE), and homebound services across different school sites. Assignments are on-site and span from now through June 11, 2026.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- A valid Minnesota teaching license in the appropriate Special Education area is required.
- Background working with students with autism spectrum disorder, developmental disabilities, or providing homebound services is a plus.
- Ability to manage caseloads ranging from small, specialized groups to larger, integrated classrooms.
- Flexible, collaborative, and committed to inclusive education practices.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with students, families, and school staff.
Typical Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized instruction to support student IEP goals.
- Develop and adapt lesson plans to meet a wide range of learning needs within specialized settings.
- Track progress, assess learning outcomes, and document student data.
- Foster a positive, supportive, and structured learning environment.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families.
