Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid teaching certification in Special Education
• Previous experience as a Special Education Teacher in a school setting
• Knowledge of IEP development and implementation
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt to various learning styles and needs
• Organizational skills to manage documentation and maintain deadlines

What You’ll Do:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs
• Deliver differentiated instruction in both individual and group settings
• Manage caseloads and maintain accurate records in compliance with district and state requirements
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families to support student goals
• Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and ongoing professional development sessions
• Foster a safe, respectful, and engaging classroom atmosphere
