Qualifications:
- Active Minnesota teaching license with Tier 3 or 4 status
- Endorsement in Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or Developmental Cognitive Disabilities (DCD) required
- Experience working with Setting 3 classrooms is highly valued
- Ability to deliver individualized instruction and adapt to students’ unique strengths and needs
- Strong collaboration skills to partner with paraprofessionals, related service staff, and families
- Deep commitment to creating inclusive, engaging classroom experiences
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct instruction to a caseload of approximately 6-10 students in a Setting 3 classroom
- Develop and implement IEPs tailored to individual learning profiles
- Work closely with a dedicated team within one school building
- Utilize evidence-based strategies to support communication, behavioral, and academic success
- Foster a positive, structured environment that encourages growth and independence
- Collect data, monitor progress, and adjust interventions as needed
- Engage in professional development and ongoing learning relevant to ASD and DCD
