Key Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education teaching license for Minnesota (or eligibility to obtain)
• Experience instructing or supporting students with disabilities in a school setting
• Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
• Adaptability and resourcefulness in creating inclusive, engaging lesson plans
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with classroom staff, families, and multidisciplinary teams

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver individualized instruction to students based on their IEP goals and unique learning profiles
• Collaborate with general education teachers and related service providers to modify curriculum and create accessible educational materials
• Monitor student progress, document data, and participate in regular IEP meetings
• Foster a positive classroom environment that builds confidence and encourages constructive peer interactions
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians on student progress and strategies for continued growth
• Employ diverse teaching strategies to address behavioral, academic, and social-emotional goals
