Exciting contract opportunities are available for certified Special Education Teachers to support specialized programs across all grade levels near Saint Paul, MN. Spanning from August 24, 2026, through May 28, 2027, these on-site positions offer the chance to make a meaningful difference for students who need your expertise.

As a valued educator in this setting, you will work collaboratively within dedicated teams, tailoring instruction to address diverse learning needs in various specialized classrooms. Notably, three positions are available at Sanburg Middle School (resource and RISE programs), while other roles span different schools in the area.

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Minnesota Teaching Credential in Special Education, specifically in Developmental Cognitive Disabilities (Tier 3 or 4 license required)
• Previous experience working within special education, ideally with a range of age groups and program types
• Thorough understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs) and differentiated instructional strategies
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with staff, students, and families
• Adaptability and resourcefulness to support students across varying needs
• Commitment to an on-site role (remote/virtual work is not permitted)

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement effective instructional programs for students with developmental cognitive disabilities
• Develop and maintain IEPs, progress monitoring, and documentation per regulations
• Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and support staff to foster inclusive environments
• Partner with families to support individualized student growth
• Foster positive classroom cultures that promote engagement and achievement
