Key Qualifications:

• Minnesota Teaching Credential in Special Education: Developmental Cognitive Disabilities (Tier 3 or 4 license required)
• Previous experience working within special education programs preferred
• Strong understanding of differentiated instruction, IEP development, and data-driven interventions
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Ability to adapt to varied student needs and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and group instruction to students with developmental cognitive disabilities across different age groups
• Develop and implement IEPs in compliance with legal, ethical, and school guidelines
• Collaborate closely with classroom teachers, specialists, and families to support student success
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting instructional strategies as needed
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, staff professional development, and parent conferences
• Foster an inclusive, respectful, and safe classroom atmosphere
