Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid teaching license with Special Education certification
• Prior experience as a Special Education Teacher is strongly preferred
• Understanding of diverse learning needs and effective individualized instruction
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to create tailored educational plans and modify curriculum as needed

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and measure individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with varied needs
• Collaborate with general education teachers, school staff, and families to support each student’s success
• Utilize evidence-based instructional strategies and adapt lessons for individual student needs
• Maintain detailed and up-to-date documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
• Foster an encouraging, respectful classroom environment where all students feel safe and valued
• Track student progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders
• Participate actively in IEP meetings and related professional development opportunities
