Special Education Teacher - Saint Paul, Minnesota

Weekly Hours: 37.5

Key Qualifications:

• Minnesota licensure in Academic Behavioral Strategist (ABS), Emotional/Behavioral Disabilities (EBD), or Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD); EBD or ASD preferred
• Valid ASD or DCD endorsement required; Tier 3 or 4 licensure only
• Previous experience as an EBD Setting 3 cluster teacher highly desirable
• Strong communication, organization, and classroom management abilities
• Demonstrated commitment to supporting students with moderate to severe disabilities

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction and support to students in a Setting 3 classroom for DCD/ASD
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Collaborate with families, related service providers, and school teams to foster student success
• Adapt instructional strategies and materials to meet diverse learning needs
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with school and state requirements
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and structured classroom climate
