Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting K-12 students as an itinerant Special Education Teacher with a Physical and Health Disabilities (P/HD) endorsement. This fully on-site position offers the chance to make a direct impact by providing expertise in curriculum accessibility, assistive technology, and tailored instruction for students with physical and health-related needs during the 2026-2027 academic year.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Special Education (SPED) teaching licensure with Physical and Health Disabilities (P/HD) endorsement
  • Previous experience working with students requiring physical and health-related educational accommodations
  • Strong background in developing, implementing, and monitoring Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including occupational and physical therapists, and classroom teachers
  • Skilled in conducting comprehensive functional evaluations within a school environment
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities
  • Able to provide proof of licensure, professional references, and resume upon request

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver consultative and itinerant support across multiple school sites (K-12) for curriculum modification, classroom accessibility, and utilization of assistive technology
  • Conduct student evaluations and participate in IEP meetings to ensure educational access and progress
  • Develop and maintain accurate documentation of student plans, services, and progress
  • Actively partner with team members to foster inclusive learning environments
  • Provide staff and family consultation/training as needed to support student success

This contract position runs from August 24, 2026 through May 28, 2027, with a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week and on-site work at all assigned locations.
