Skills & Experience Sought:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification in Minnesota
• Experience working with K-12 students requiring individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Strong knowledge of learning disabilities, behavioral plans, and differentiated instruction
• Excellent communication skills to engage with students, families, and support staff
• Patient, resourceful, and adaptable approach to teaching and managing small groups or one-on-one instruction

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
• Deliver tailored instruction based on student needs and abilities in both inclusion and resource settings
• Track student progress and adjust strategies to maximize learning outcomes
• Maintain accurate records and adhere to district, state, and federal guidelines
• Foster positive, supportive classroom environments that encourage student independence and growth
• Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and parent-teacher conferences as required
