Special Education Teacher in Saint Paul, MN

You'll play a vital role in providing individualized instruction and collaborating with a dedicated team to create an inclusive environment.

Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Special Education
• Valid state certification as a Special Education Teacher
• Experience working with K-12 students in a school setting preferred
• Strong communication and collaborative skills
• Familiarity with IEP processes and inclusive teaching strategies
• Ability to adapt lessons and interventions to meet diverse student needs
• Enthusiasm for professional learning and development

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons to students with varying needs
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with families and staff
• Monitor student progress, keeping accurate records and reporting on goals
• Foster a positive, supportive classroom climate that encourages student growth
• Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service providers
• Participate in staff development sessions during the weeks of August 24th and August 31st
• Prepare for the start of the academic year with students returning on September 8th
