Special Education Teacher in Saint Paul, MN

Multiple contract positions are available for experienced Special Education Teachers near Saint Paul, MN, starting as soon as possible. With the academic year beginning September 8th, you’ll have the chance to shape young lives across a range of settings, depending on your background, preferences, and areas of expertise.

Qualifications & Experience

• Must hold a valid Minnesota teaching license in Special Education
• Previous experience in a school setting is highly valued
• Strong understanding of diverse learning needs and individualized educational planning
• Willingness to collaborate with parents, therapists, and school staff
• Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills
• Ability to create engaging, tailored lessons for students with varied abilities
• Commitment to maintaining a safe and supportive learning environment
• Flexible, proactive, and compassionate approach

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide instruction to students in accordance with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to implement supportive learning strategies
• Monitor progress and adjust teaching methods as needed
• Engage in IEP meetings, write reports, and maintain compliance with state/district regulations
• Foster an inclusive, positive atmosphere that promotes academic and personal growth
