Qualifications & Desired Experience:
• Valid teaching certification with a Special Education endorsement
• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field (Master’s degree preferred)
• Prior experience as a Special Education Teacher or supporting students with disabilities
• Familiarity with developing and implementing IEPs
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with families, staff, and administration
• Ability to adapt instruction to accommodate a wide range of learning needs
• Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive classroom environment

Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver high-quality instruction to students with varying exceptionalities
• Develop, implement, and regularly update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Collect and analyze data to monitor student progress and adjust strategies
• Collaborate with general education teachers, service providers, and support staff
• Provide guidance and support to paraprofessionals within the classroom
• Foster a safe, supportive environment that encourages student growth and independence
• Engage parents and guardians in their children’s learning journey through regular communication
