This contract position begins in mid-October and extends through early June, providing the chance to work closely with a small caseload in a single school setting. As a Special Education Teacher and case manager, you’ll play an integral role in fostering student growth, collaborating with colleagues, and maintaining the highest standards of due process.

What you’ll bring:

• Current MN teaching license issued by PELSB
• Special education licensure and experience delivering direct instruction
• Expertise with IEP development and monitoring due process compliance
• Strong case management and organizational skills

What your day will include:

• Providing direct academic instruction and targeted interventions to elementary and middle grade students with varying exceptionalities
• Serving as case manager, tracking student progress, coordinating IEP meetings, and ensuring adherence to all regulations
• Documenting and maintaining student records in accordance with best practices and state requirements
• Working closely with general education staff and specialists to support inclusion and access to curriculum
• Communicating regularly with families and multidisciplinary teams to celebrate successes and address challenges
