Make an impact as a Special Education Teacher supporting a cluster classroom in a vibrant elementary environment near Saint Paul, MN. This full-time contract position begins on November 1, 2026, and continues through February 15, 2027. You’ll provide instruction and leadership in a center-based setting, working with a dedicated team to serve approximately 10 students with diverse and complex learning needs. There is no hybrid or remote component; all instruction is in-person.

Key qualifications and preferred experience:

  • Valid Special Education Teacher licensure for the state of Minnesota
  • Demonstrated skills working with students in DCD (Developmental Cognitive Disabilities) and ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) center-based classrooms
  • Experience collaborating within a classroom team, including paraprofessionals
  • Commitment to creating an inclusive, supportive environment for students with significant needs
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and delivering individualized instruction for a cluster classroom of 10 students
  • Leading and collaborating with 3 paraprofessionals in daily classroom activities
  • Developing and implementing IEPs, monitoring progress, and adjusting interventions as needed
  • Utilizing evidence-based strategies to support communication, behavior, and academic goals
  • Providing regular updates and partnering with families and other professionals
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation in compliance with district and state requirements
