Apply NowA Special Education Teacher position is available for grades 9-12 in a high school setting in Saint Paul, MN. This contract role involves working with a caseload of 15 students, focusing on providing individualized support to meet their educational needs.
Responsibilities include:
- Developing, writing, and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's goals.
- Collaborating closely with related services staff to ensure comprehensive support.
- Delivering specialized instruction aligned with the curriculum and individual learning objectives.
- Monitoring student progress and adjusting interventions as needed alongside the educational team.
The role requires a Tier 3 Minnesota Department of Education License in Special Education and the ability to manage and implement IEPs effectively.
Schedule details:
- Work 7.25 hours daily with a 30-minute unpaid lunch, Monday through Friday.
- Typical start time is approximately 7:30 a.m., with dismissal around 3:30 p.m. (exact hours may vary).
Compensation includes weekly pay and benefits for this full-time contract position.
