Qualifications:

  • Special Education Teaching License (SPED licensure), or
  • General education candidates with significant SPED experience and a PELSB License T2-T4 (must complete an out-of-field form)
  • Prior experience with elementary (K-6) students preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational abilities
  • Adaptability and enthusiasm for travel-based assignments

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized and group instruction to K-6 students with special education needs
  • Develop and implement personalized education plans
  • Collaborate with staff, families, and administration to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records in accordance with policy and practice
  • Foster an inclusive, positive learning environment
