This school year position is a full-time, 37.5-hour week opportunity in a Setting 3 classroom environment, supporting 6–10 students in grades K-12 with Developmental Cognitive Disabilities (DCD) and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) needs. You’ll be making a meaningful impact—serving in one building and collaborating with dedicated colleagues in a supportive, resource-rich setting.
Qualifications:
- Valid Minnesota teaching license with ASD or DCD endorsement (Tier 3 or 4 only)
- Experience supporting students with DCD and/or ASD in a classroom setting preferred
- Passion for adaptive, student-centered learning practices
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students’ unique strengths and needs
- Foster a positive, structured, and inclusive learning environment
- Collaborate with support staff, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Engage in ongoing professional development and share best practices
