Working in a full-time role from August 2026 through early June 2027 gives you the chance to broaden your expertise and develop leadership skills within a high-support, center-based Emotional Behavioral Disorders (EBD) classroom. This assignment will strengthen your clinical acumen, provide exposure to innovative practices in special education, and elevate your resume with hands-on experience supporting a diverse K–2 population with substantial needs.

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

• Valid Minnesota Special Education Teaching License; EBD licensure preferred
• Experience supporting students with significant behavioral needs
• Proficient in IEP and BIP development and implementation
• Skilled in behavioral intervention, de-escalation, and collaborative consultation
• Strong communication abilities; works effectively in team settings
• Preference for candidates with Level 3 behavior support experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and deliver instruction in a center-based EBD classroom (approx. 6 students, K–2)
• Manage behavioral supports and provide individualized interventions
• Collaborate with classroom staff and contribute to school-wide best practices
• Develop trauma-informed, restorative, and Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) strategies
• Implement and adjust IEPs and BIPs in partnership with families and specialists
