Qualifications:

• Valid Tier 4 Early Childhood Special Education License
• Experience working in self-contained classrooms preferred
• Capacity to collaborate with support staff (full-time paraeducators in the room)
• Flexible to adapt to varying schedules and assignments
• Passion for supporting students with special needs in an inclusive setting

Responsibilities:

• Teach and manage a part-time (0.5 FTE) self-contained special education classroom
• Monday full paperwork or meeting day, or alternative split-day schedule
• Act as a float substitute within the ECSE program as needed
• Collaborate effectively with two full-time paraeducators
• Support individualized learning plans and foster a safe, nurturing classroom environment
