About the Role

A school district in Salem, New Hampshire is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to provide virtual instruction and support to K–12 students. This remote position is an excellent opportunity to help students overcome learning barriers, build confidence, and stay on track academically—all from a flexible home-based work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide individualized virtual instruction for students with mild to moderate learning needs.

  • Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in alignment with New Hampshire regulations.

  • Collaborate with general education teachers, families, and related service providers.

  • Adjust instructional materials and teaching strategies based on student progress.

  • Maintain accurate documentation and participate in virtual IEP and team meetings.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or related field.

  • Active New Hampshire Special Education teaching license (teaching certification may be required).

  • Previous school-based or virtual teaching experience preferred.

  • Strong communication, organization, and technology skills.
