Special Education Teacher - Salem, New Hampshire

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current Special Education Certification (SPED); dual certification not required
• Experience working with early childhood or elementary caseloads preferred
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with students, families, and colleagues
• Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Organizational and time-management skills

Core Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Adapt curriculum materials to accommodate diverse learning needs
• Provide direct instruction, support, and intervention for elementary students
• Collaborate with general education teachers and related service providers
• Foster positive relationships with families and coordinate with guardians about student progress
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all federal and state regulations
