Step into a rewarding contract position supporting elementary students as a Special Education Teacher for the 2026-2027 academic year. This full-time opportunity spans September through June and is based near Salem, NH. Your week will consist of 35 hours, with the daily schedule running from 8:15 AM to 3:30 PM. You will work primarily at the elementary level, providing essential instructional support and fostering a positive learning environment for students with diverse needs.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid credentials in Special Education teaching
- Experience working within a school setting is highly preferred
- Confidence in delivering small group instruction and co-teaching models
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work alongside general education teachers and support staff
- Ability to maintain detailed records and adapt instructional strategies to meet IEP goals
