Positions are available in Elementary Developmental, Elementary Behavior, Middle School Resource, Elementary Resource, and Middle School Behavior, each uniquely supporting students in various learning environments. The assignment begins as soon as possible and continues through June 5, 2026.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active and current Special Education (SPED) certification/license in Oregon
- Experience working with students with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), behavioral needs, or communication challenges preferred
- Proven ability to collaborate with instructional assistants and other educators
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- Recent supervisor reference contact information required for consideration
Key Duties:
- Develop and adapt lesson plans to accommodate individual education plans (IEPs) and meet state requirements
- Provide direct instruction and behavioral support in both resource and self-contained classroom settings
- Collaborate with support staff, specialists, and assistants to address students’ unique academic and behavioral needs
- Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment, promoting student engagement and development
- Maintain accurate records and document all student progress toward IEP goals
