Multiple full-time contract positions are available, starting as soon as possible and continuing through June 5, 2026. Current openings offer flexibility to match your experience and interests:

  • Elementary Developmental (two positions): Work with 15 students, supported by six assistants, focusing on behavioral, ASD, and communication needs.
  • Elementary Behavior: Guide 16 students in grades 3–5, alongside five assistants.
  • Middle School Resource: Support a resource room of 40 students with two shared assistants.
  • Elementary Resource: Serve 35 students across two nearby sites, with an assistant in each building.
  • Middle School Behavior: Empower 15 students, assisted by a five-member team.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Special Education teaching certification/license in Oregon is required.
  • Experience with a variety of special needs, including behavioral, developmental, communication, or ASD support preferred.
  • Proven collaboration skills and ability to work positively with assistants and staff.
  • Reference contact for your most recent supervisor is required for consideration.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized educational plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs.
  • Foster an inclusive, supportive classroom environment that encourages student engagement and growth.
  • Coordinate with assistants to deliver effective instruction and behavioral interventions.
  • Maintain thorough documentation and participate actively in team meetings and parent communications.
