Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid state teaching credential in Special Education
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Special Education or a related field
• Experience working with elementary-aged students preferred
• Strong understanding of IEP process and ability to develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, parents, and school staff
• Adaptability and a patient, empathetic approach to instruction

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging instruction to elementary students with varying learning needs, using evidence-based strategies
• Develop, update, and manage IEPs in compliance with state and federal guidelines
• Assess student progress and adjust teaching methods to maximize individual growth
• Collaborate with general education teachers, instructional aides, and specialists to support inclusion and differentiation
• Maintain accurate records and provide regular feedback to families and school teams
