Qualifications/Experience:

  • Valid Special Education teaching certification (or eligibility) in Oregon
  • Experience working with diverse student populations, including behavioral and developmental needs
  • Flexibility to adapt to different age groups and classroom models
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
  • Ability to provide three supervisor references with name, title (school), and email is required

Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Deliver instruction across varying caseloads (K–12), assignments matched to strengths and preference
  • Lead Middle School Life Skills Program or Elementary K-2 Developmental Classrooms
  • Support intensive behavioral health elementary programs (grades 3–5)
  • Collaborate with instructional assistants, therapists, and families to foster student growth
  • Develop and adapt lesson plans and IEPs to meet student needs
  • Maintain a supportive, inclusive classroom environment onsite
