Multiple full-time and part-time contract positions are currently available for certified Special Education Teachers with experience in resource programs or self-contained autism support. Opportunities are available across elementary and middle school environments in the Salisbury, NC area.
Qualifications:
- Active EC General Curriculum license (required; Adapted Curriculum not accepted)
- Compliance with standard district credentialing, including valid Georgia/State EC License and background check
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
- For Davis Townsend Elementary: experience or high comfort supporting students with autism in self-contained, maximum-support classrooms strictly teaching the general curriculum
- For Silver Valley Elementary: ability to consistently work the part-time schedule (Monday—Thursday, 8:45 AM–1:45 PM) serving K–2 students

- CASE Teacher, Full-Time – 1 role at Davis Townsend Elementary (self-contained autism support)
- EC Teacher, Full-Time – 1 role at E. Lawson Brown Middle School
- Resource Teacher, Part-Time – 1 role at Silver Valley Elementary (K–2, 20 hours/week)
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality instruction, modifications, and supports aligned with the general curriculum
- Develop and implement IEP goals in partnership with students, families, and colleagues
- Foster inclusive, positive, and engaging learning environments
- Adapt teaching strategies to diverse learner needs while maintaining rigorous standards
- Track and document student progress effectively
