- Knowledge of current best practices in special education and instructional strategies
- Ability to develop and implement IEPs aligned with state and federal requirements
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction to students with diverse abilities
- Create and manage effective IEPs tailored to the unique needs of each student
- Assess students’ academic and behavioral progress, maintaining accurate records
- Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families
- Adapt teaching methods and materials to support all learners
- Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and team collaboration
- Maintain compliance with all state and federal special education regulations
