Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Resource Specialist Program (RSP) Teacher to join our middle school team in San Andreas for the upcoming 2026/2027 academic year. This full-time position is focused on providing high-quality instructional support to students with mild-to-moderate disabilities, ensuring they have the tools and accommodations necessary to thrive in a secondary setting.
The successful candidate will manage a caseload of up to 28 students, utilizing both push-in and pull-out service models to meet individual student needs.
Key Responsibilities
Service Delivery: Provide specialized academic instruction through a mix of push-in support within general education classrooms and targeted pull-out sessions.
Caseload Management: Oversee a caseload of up to 28 middle school students, ensuring all services are delivered as outlined in their IEPs.
IEP Leadership: Facilitate the IEP process, including drafting goals, conducting annual and triennial meetings, and ensuring all legal timelines are met.
Collaboration: Partner with general education staff, administrators, and families to foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
Assessment: Monitor student progress and use data to drive instructional decisions and report on IEP goal mastery.
Qualifications & Requirements
Certification: MUST hold an active California Education Specialist Instruction Credential – Mild/Moderate.
Experience: Strong background in the IEP process and familiarity with middle school curriculum and behavioral needs.
Expertise: Proficiency in both push-in and pull-out instructional strategies.
Compliance: Thorough understanding of California state and federal special education regulations.

Compensation for this position ranges from $33.34 to $53.34. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals.
