Qualifications:

• Valid teaching certification (any type accepted)
• Experience teaching Special Education students at elementary or high school levels preferred
• Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills

• Creative approach to individualized instruction and progress monitoring

Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver personalized instruction to support academic and behavioral goals in self-contained classrooms
• Develop, adapt, and oversee Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods as needed
• Foster a safe, nurturing, and respectful classroom environment
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and collaborate with related service providers
• Advocate for student needs and facilitate family engagement
