Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid General Education License required
• Previous experience as a Special Education Teacher, supporting Grades K-12
• Specialized skills or training in dyslexia intervention preferred
• Ability to build rapport with students, parents, and faculty
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Commitment to individualized instruction and accommodation

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, modify, and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with dyslexia and other learning needs
• Deliver engaging, differentiated instruction in small groups or one-on-one settings
• Monitor student progress, maintain accurate records, and collaborate on assessments
• Partner with general education teachers and support staff to ensure students’ needs are met
• Communicate regularly with families about student goals and progress
• Foster a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom climate
