As a Special Education Teacher focusing on Self-Contained Life Skills (Grades EC-6), you’ll work a consistent schedule, 7:30-7:45 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Your expertise and commitment will provide invaluable support to students, while the collaborative nature of this environment will expose you to new leadership styles and classroom strategies.

Qualifications:

• Active Texas Educator License with EC-6 Special Education Endorsement
• Experience participating in and contributing to Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings
• Adherence to dress code promoting community and equality (limited visible tattoos, single color hair, professional attire, limited earrings)

Responsibilities:

• Deliver curriculum to self-contained life skills classroom (Grades EC-6)
• Actively participate in ARD meetings and collaborate with educational teams
