Special Education Teacher in San Bernardino, CA

This onsite, contract-based opportunity is located near Riverside and San Bernardino, CA, offering the chance to support diverse learners and collaborate closely with passionate education professionals.

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
• Valid California teaching credential with Special Education authorization
• Experience working with children with moderate/severe or mild/moderate disabilities
• Strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and families
• Dedication to fostering positive, inclusive classroom environments

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs
• Collaborate with general education staff to create inclusive and supportive learning environments
• Deliver direct instruction and targeted interventions to students with disabilities
• Regularly monitor and assess student growth, adapting instructional strategies as needed
• Engage effectively with students, families, and team members about progress, achievements, and needs
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive student support
• Maintain accurate, thorough records for compliance and progress reporting
