We’re seeking passionate Special Education Teachers to provide direct instruction and support for students with moderate/severe and mild/moderate disabilities. This is an onsite, contract opportunity close to San Bernardino, CA, with multiple positions available.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or a closely related field (Master’s degree is a plus)
  • Valid California teaching credential with Special Education authorization
  • Experience supporting students with moderate/severe and/or mild/moderate disabilities
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Collaborative mindset—works well within multidisciplinary teams and diverse school staff
  • Dedication to building a positive, inclusive classroom environment

Core Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and regularly review individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students’ unique needs
  • Partner with general education teachers to foster a supportive, inclusive atmosphere
  • Provide engaging instruction and differentiated support based on individual learning profiles
  • Assess, track, and document student progress, adjusting instructional strategies as needed
  • Maintain regular communication with students, families, and staff regarding goals and growth
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings and collaborate within multidisciplinary teams
  • Ensure timely, accurate completion of all compliance and reporting documentation
