Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education teaching certification
- Prior experience teaching in special education settings, preferably in K-12 schools
- Familiarity with differentiating instruction and writing IEPs
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Adaptability to new environments and processes
- Ability to collaborate effectively with students, families, and school staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging, individualized instruction for students with diverse learning needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor students' Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Maintain a supportive and structured classroom environment
- Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service providers
- Offer ongoing documentation, progress monitoring, and family communication
