Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or a related field (Master’s preferred)
  • Valid California teaching credential with Special Education authorization
  • Classroom experience with moderate/severe or mild/moderate disabilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to collaborate with a diverse team and foster a supportive learning environment

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement tailored IEPs for students
  • Work with general education teachers to create inclusive classrooms
  • Continuously assess and adapt instructional methods to meet student needs
  • Deliver direct, individualized instruction and support to students with disabilities
  • Communicate progress and offer guidance to students, parents, and colleagues
  • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate within multidisciplinary teams
  • Maintain accurate records in accordance with compliance and reporting standards
