Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Valid California teaching credential in one or more of the following: Mild/Moderate Disabilities, Extensive Support Needs (Moderate/Severe), or Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE)
  • Strong background supporting students in special education settings
  • Experience adapting curriculum and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
  • Ability to manage IEPs, track progress, and maintain thorough records
  • Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive classroom climate
  • California PPS Certification preferred

Core Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized instruction to PK-12 students across varying grade levels and needs
  • Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in collaboration with families and campus staff
  • Modify and adapt lesson plans to support diverse learning needs
  • Foster a supportive and engaging classroom environment
  • Collaborate with specialists, therapists, and paraprofessionals
  • Document student progress and participate in IEP meetings
