Special Education Teacher in San Francisco, CA

The school is seeking a total of four skilled teachers:

1. Two SDC (Special Day Class) teachers
2. Two RSP (Resource Specialist Program) teachers

Details of the assignment:

• Full-time, 40 hours per week
• Robust classroom support, with paraprofessionals assigned at a 3:1 student-to-para ratio

Qualifications:

• Valid California Teaching License required for all candidates
• For SDC roles: Moderate/Severe Education Specialist Credential with Autism Authorization
• For RSP roles: Mild/Moderate Education Specialist Credential
• Demonstrated experience implementing IEPs and supporting diverse student needs
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive classroom environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver engaging, individualized instruction based on students’ IEPs
• Collaborate with staff, families, and support personnel for student success
