Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid California teaching credential in Special Education or eligibility for reciprocal certification.
• Experience working with K-12 students with diverse abilities and special needs.
• Solid understanding of IEP development, implementation, and compliance.
• Familiarity with evidence-based instructional strategies and behavioral interventions.
• Strong teamwork, organization, and communication skills.
• Flexibility to adapt to various caseloads and school settings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs tailored to each student's strengths and needs.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and families for seamless inclusion and support.
• Provide direct instruction both in resource and inclusive classroom settings.
• Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Employ positive behavioral supports to foster a safe, encouraging learning environment.
• Participate in team meetings, professional development, and ongoing communication with all stakeholders.
