Special Ed Teacher | San Joaquin, California

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education Teaching credential
• Experience supporting elementary-aged students with mild to moderate disabilities
• Strong knowledge of IEP development, implementation, and compliance
• Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
• Ability to manage a diverse caseload with sensitivity and creativity

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct instruction and support to elementary students, implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Develop lesson plans tailored to diverse learning styles and needs
• Work closely with general education teachers, support staff, and families
• Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation
• Foster a safe, positive classroom environment where all students feel valued and included
• Utilize ongoing assessment and data to drive instructional decisions and support student progress
