Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Special Education or related field
• Valid Special Education teaching certification for the state of Arizona
• Experience working with students who have diverse learning needs and abilities
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for partnering with parents and multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Knowledge of current instructional methods and behavioral interventions
• Adaptability and patience to support students in a positive, inclusive environment

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and differentiated instruction to meet each student’s unique needs
• Develop and update IEPs in collaboration with families and staff, ensuring compliance with all federal and state regulations
• Assess student progress and adjust interventions as necessary
• Foster a supportive classroom climate that encourages student participation and social-emotional growth
• Communicate regularly with parents, general education teachers, and support staff to ensure student success
• Participate in team meetings, professional development, and school activities as required
• Utilize data and evidence-based practices to drive instruction and decision-making
