Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification/license (or eligibility) in Arizona
• Previous experience working with elementary-grade children, preferably in a resource or special education capacity
• Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills with students, families, and staff
• Proven ability to adapt curriculum and instructional methods to meet diverse learner needs
• Organizational skills for managing caseloads, documentation, and classroom planning

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct instruction, academic support, and positive behavior interventions to K-5 students in a resource classroom
• Develop, review, and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Collaborate effectively with general education teachers, specialists, and parents to ensure students' needs are met
• Assess and document student progress, adjusting strategies as needed for optimal learning outcomes
• Foster a supportive, inclusive, and structured classroom environment
