Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or relevant field (Master’s preferred)
- Active Special Education teaching certification in Utah or eligibility to obtain
- Experience developing and delivering IEPs
- Strong communication skills for engaging with staff, students, and families
- Knowledge of evidence-based instructional strategies and classroom management
- Ability to adapt and differentiate instruction for a range of learning abilities
- Collaborative mindset and commitment to inclusivity
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students
- Deliver engaging instruction tailored to student needs
- Partner with multidisciplinary teams to foster student success
- Maintain clear documentation of student progress and communicate effectively with families
- Support students’ behavioral, social, and academic development
- Participate in school meetings, staff development, and ongoing training
