We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) to provide specialized educational services to students in Santa Fe, New Mexico. This is a full-time, onsite opportunity for the 2026–2027 school year, ideal for an educator committed to supporting students with hearing differences in achieving academic and personal success.

Position Responsibilities
Provide direct instruction and specialized educational services to students who are deaf or hard of hearing.
Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
Collaborate with general education teachers, special education staff, related service providers, and families.
Adapt instructional materials and classroom accommodations to meet individual student needs.
Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation.
Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team collaboration.
Support students' communication, language development, and academic achievement.

Caseload: Details pending.

Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Deaf Education, Special Education, or a related field.
Valid New Mexico teaching license with Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing endorsement (or eligibility to obtain).
Knowledge of IDEA, IEP development, and special education best practices.
Experience working with students who are deaf or hard of hearing is preferred.
Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
