Desired Qualifications:

  • Current Pennsylvania teaching license (active)
  • Valid PA PDE Certification: Experience-Based Certificate in Special Education PK-12, Instructional I, or Instructional II in Special Education
  • Experience working directly with students in special education settings
  • Proven history of IEP development and implementation
  • In-person availability only
  • Must provide documentation of licensure and certification

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as an itinerant Special Education Teacher covering various schools in Carbon or Lehigh County
  • Provide classroom instruction, cover teacher absences, and support extended leave assignments as needed
  • Foster a positive, inclusive environment for diverse learners
  • Engage actively in IEP meetings and implementation
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across multiple school locations
