You’ll serve as an Itinerant Substitute Special Education Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year, supporting multiple specialized programs and sites within a manageable daily commute. Qualifications:

• Pennsylvania Special Education Certification (required/preferred by assignment)
• Special education classroom teaching experience
• Experience implementing IEP goals and providing specialized instruction
• Strong classroom management and behavioral support skills
• Flexibility to support multiple classrooms/programs as needed
• Collaborative approach with team members and families

Preferred Experience:

• Autism, Emotional Support, Multiple Disabilities, or Behavioral Health backgrounds
• Prior work in Intermediate Units or specialized settings

Responsibilities:

• Provide instruction and adaptation for students with diverse learning and behavioral needs
• Cover classroom vacancies, leaves, and unique assignments as directed
• Support students in academic, behavioral, communication, and developmental growth
