Key Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education Teacher certification
- Experience working with students with diverse needs in language arts, math, and behavior support
- Background in developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEP)
- Strong collaboration skills with general education teachers and families
- Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal
- Adaptability and a solution-oriented mindset
Role Highlights:
- Full-time, Monday through Friday, 35-40 hours per week
- Deliver small group and inclusive classroom support for students in special education
- Create and update IEPs, tracking progress and adjusting instruction as needed
- Foster home/school partnerships to support student growth
- Collaborate with a team of dedicated resource teachers and participate in team meetings
- Engage in a supportive virtual interview process with the Special Education Director
