This full-time, onsite position is available across multiple campuses, with opportunities tailored to your expertise, including Inclusion/SUCCESS, Practical, CBT, and STRIVE programs. Candidates must live within a 30-minute commute of several district campuses, including locations in zip codes 85015, 85040, 85019, 85004, 85017, and 85339, providing wide-ranging options to match your preferences and commute.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Standard Arizona Secondary Teaching License
  • Current K-12 Special Education Certificate
  • IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
  • Certification or experience in CBT and/or STRIVE required
  • Demonstrated experience supporting students with emotional disabilities and diverse learning needs
  • Understanding of at-risk, multilingual, and exceptional student populations
  • Strong background in developing and implementing IEPs and other special services activities per federal, state, and district standards
  • Willingness to participate in Essential Elements of Effective Instruction (E.E.E.I.) training or relevant staff development

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver specially designed instruction to students in various special education settings (Inclusion/SUCCESS, Practical, CBT, STRIVE)
  • Foster prosocial and self-regulatory skills among students
  • Adapt curriculum to meet individual student needs
  • Collaborate with fellow educators, related service providers, and families
  • Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with all necessary regulations

Multiple positions are available with specific caseloads designed to fit your strengths. These assignments begin with required CIE training from July 21-24, followed by a contract running from July 27, 2024, through May 21, 2027.
