Exciting contract opportunities are available for passionate Special Education Teachers interested in working onsite in the Phoenix and Glendale, AZ area. These full-time positions span a range of self-contained, behavioral, and resource settings, including preschool through junior high. Flexible options are also available to combine two part-time roles into a full-time schedule, allowing for a personalized work experience.

Openings include:

• Self-Contained Cross Category Academic Program, 8th Grade Science (Junior High)
• Self-Contained Behavior Teacher (Elementary)
• Self-Contained Academic Teacher for MID students (Elementary)
• Preschool Teacher for an Autism program (Preschool)
• Resource Teacher, .5 FTE positions in Elementary and Junior High (grades 3-8, morning shifts)

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Arizona Special Education Teacher Certification
• Current IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
• Experience in resource, self-contained, or autism/cross-categorical settings preferred
• Ability to adapt instruction to meet students’ individual education plans
• Strong collaboration, communication, and classroom management skills

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct instruction and support for students with special needs
• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and structured classroom environment
• Collaborate with instructional teams, related service providers, and families
• Track and report student progress toward IEP goals
• Participate in IEP meetings and professional development as needed
