These full-time positions span a range of self-contained, behavioral, and resource settings, including preschool through junior high. Flexible options are also available to combine two part-time roles into a full-time schedule, allowing for a personalized work experience.
Openings include:
- Self-Contained Cross Category Academic Program, 8th Grade Science (Junior High)
- Self-Contained Behavior Teacher (Elementary)
- Self-Contained Academic Teacher for MID students (Elementary)
- Preschool Teacher for an Autism program (Preschool)
- Resource Teacher, .5 FTE positions in Elementary and Junior High (grades 3-8, morning shifts)
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Arizona Special Education Teacher Certification
- Current IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Experience in resource, self-contained, or autism/cross-categorical settings preferred
- Ability to adapt instruction to meet students’ individual education plans
- Strong collaboration, communication, and classroom management skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct instruction and support for students with special needs
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and structured classroom environment
- Collaborate with instructional teams, related service providers, and families
- Track and report student progress toward IEP goals
- Participate in IEP meetings and professional development as needed
